My voice was advised to re-record – Anju Pant

Kathmandu / Singer Anju Pant has said that lyricist Vipin Kiran has released a new version of “na birse timilai,na paye timilai” without consulting her. Vipin Kiran had said that he had got permission from Anju to sing the song Rimal.
Vipin Kiran had informed singer Anju Pant before recording the song and claimed that she had no objection to it. Today, however, Anju has made it clear that she did not consult Rachana about singing.
She said she was advised to re-record in her own voice.
“Some time ago, Vipin Kiran Bhai had asked me to re-record this ghazal in my voice in the new arrangement. And, accordingly, the new arrangement made by the arranger Maharaj Thapa was also sent to me. We were planning to re-record in a timely manner, “she wrote on social networking site Facebook. I said yes. ”

Lately, she has been complaining about not giving credit to the original creators, overshadowing them. “The same music, the same arrangement, without even mentioning the name of the original singer in the new version, it is sad and unjust to be public as official. What and for what purpose did this happen? I did not know Iam more concerned that we are not forgetting the culture of respect and esteem that this tradition will give to music and artists in the future than the one person. ”
She said that she got the information about the new version of the song only after it came on YouTube. Vipin Kiran’s words, Mahesh Khadka’s music, Kiran Kandel’s arrangement, Shambhu Tandukar’s recording and Maheshwar Rajbhandari’s mix in this ghazal was sung by Anju Pant.
